Authors Paul and Dilys Gater

Anecdotes Publishing, based in the spa town of Buxton in the beautiful Derbyshire Peak District, is the imprint that husband and wife writing duo Paul and Dilys Gater use to expand their output of interesting and thought-provoking books.

It was founded in 1989 by Dilys, then a writer of some 25 years experience whose work included many novels and non-fiction under her own name and the pseudonyms Katrina Wright, Clover Sinclair, Lys Holland and Olwen Edwards. Though her work has been published over the years by such eminent names as Frederick Muller, Robert Hale, Samuel French, Ulverscroft and Chivers Press (Large Print editions) - and most recently, Capall Bann Publishing - she has always felt there are fascinating, worthwhile books they want to write that 'fall through the net'.
Read their titles below for an invigorating expansion of ideas, a sense of well-being and renewed richness of living.
