Welcome to Anecdotes Publishing, based in the spa town of Buxton in the beautiful Derbyshire Peak District. We are Paul and Dilys Gater, a husband and wife writing team producing interesting and thought-provoking books on spiritual and psychic topics. Dilys is a psychic medium and Paul explores the world of ghosts and the supernatural - he is currently working on COBWEB MAGIC, scheduled to appear early 2013.

Dilys founded Anecdotes in 1989. She was then a writer of some 25 years experience whose work included many novels and non-fiction under her own name and several pseudonyms, published by such eminent publishing houses as Frederick Muller, Robert Hale, Samuel French, Ulverscroft and Chivers Press (Large Print editions), Soundings (audio books) and most recently Capall Bann Publishing.

The last 20 years have been changing times, with new developments in printing and publishing; moving with the technology, Dilys was one of the first authors who decided to publish some of her books herself. Anecdotes has built up a reputation for quality and integrity, Aneccdotes titles having appeared in UK and USA editions, Large Print, audio books and translations.
